Point Blank (1967)This is supposedly a landmark film of sorts, remade by Mel Gibson as Payback (also good) in 1999. I just think it's an enjoyable film to see, certainly worth watching if you haven't seen it (with Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson, Keenan Wynn, Carroll O'Connor, John Vernon, and James Sikking). Marvin is a man who gets out of prison after a botched job. He'd been betrayed by John Vernon, who also stole his wife! So he tries to track him down. Aided by Wynn and his wife's sister, Dickinson, he finds O'Connor, the "man" in charge. Sikking plays a hired gun. |
