Citadel, The (1938)

Robert Donat's only other Oscar nominated acting performance is a pretty good story (also Oscar nominated) about a struggling doctor who is tempted by fortune to abandon his ideals. Rosalind Russell, Ralph Richardson, and a young Rex Harrison (who also plays a doctor) also star in this King Vidor directed film. The picture and its director were also nominated for Oscars.
