Shakespeare in Love (1998)

Pretty good film the title is the plot but I don’t agree that Saving Private Ryan (1998) should have won the Best Picture Oscar instead (my pick would have been the Best Foreign Language film Life is Beautiful (1998)). Gwyneth Paltrow took home the Best Actress gold (with her only nomination to date) and Dame Judi Dench won her only Oscar (Supporting) as well. The film won four other Oscars including Screenplay Writing. Supporting Actor Geoffrey Rush and Director John Madden were also nominated.
