Classic Film Guide

One, Two, Three (1961)

An hilarious Billy Wilder film. East meets West, capitalism and communism explained, and some fast talking by the film's star, James Cagney. A must see! Cagney plays a Coca Cola executive in West Germany, near the wall (that used to be). He and his wife (Arlene Francis) "babysit" Cagney's boss's (Howard St. John) daughter (Pamela Tiffin), who behaves irresponsibly and falls in love with East German communist Horst Buchholz. This leads to some hilarious "conferences" between political opposites, especially behind the wall. Oscar nomination for B&W Cinematography.
