Directed by George Cukor (Oscar nominated) this Oscar nominated film contains the famous scene with Cary Grant shoving Kate down through the front door of the house. Hepburn plays an heiress who threw out her husband (Grant) after a short time a couple of years ago and now plans to wed another (John Howard). But Grant returns with a reporter (Stewart) & photographer (Ruth Hussey) in tow to disrupt things. Hussey received a Supporting Actress nomination as well.
